I've ordered several items from MacMall and have had complete
satisfaction. My guess is that it is a poorly managed company and the
customer's experience is mostly based on which employee they deal with.

MacConnection is certainly the best. I believe they are the *only* major
mail-order store that doesn't use commissions. Hence, sale personnel have
no reason to lie, no reason to push an inferior product, and no reason to
hurry you.

MacConnection isn't perfect which is why I sometimes use MacWarehouse and
MacMall. MacConnection has four drawbacks: (1) They charge $2 more for
shipping (which I'll glady pay for superior service). (2) They sell few
games. (3) Unlike Macmall, they don't deliver on Saturday. (4) Most
significant drawback is they're often out of stock on items I can easily
find elsewhere.
