I'm with you Marcos. I've placed my order on the discounted 8250 with 2.8Ghz
on few days ago and cancelled it. Although it had a very good price I found
the following reasons to lean towards 8300:

- RDRAM is twice more expensive and has to be installed in pairs (so I will
have only ONE expensive upgrade in the future);
- RDRAM will probably be abandoned in the future because newest Intel
chipsets support DC DDR SDRAM;
- Video slot is 8X AGP on 8300 vs. 4X on 8250. Which means that best video
cards will not be used to their full potential on 8250 in the future.
- 3.06 GHz with HT;

I'm still not sure if the 8300 has 530Mhz or 800 Mhz front side bus speed.
Any info on that?
