I had a personal preference for the Intel motherboard and thought the bundle price for their 2GB Seagate Barracuda and 2940 was pretty good. Another bonus on the Gateway was a dual enhanced IDE controller on the motherboard. I boot off the 2GB SCSI drive, but I have the 3CD ATAPI CDROM changer on the secondary IDE controller! I REALLY like this because I can even add IDE hard drives which show up AFTER the SCSI disk. I'm running both Windows for Workgroups and Win95. WFWG works fine with the changer, but there are still problems using the changer with Win95. Gateway seems to think these will be resolved by the final cut but I have my doubts. Anyway, there are workarounds where you can still use the changer. Overall I am very pleased with the system and haven't had any problems (besides the CD) on WFWG, Win95, or even NT (I've run that too). Dan
