Ahhh so the leftmost bit is actually the Least significant Bit. Hmmm funny
way to have it! :)

When you say it tests the parity circuit, i assume you mean the nineth bits
in each SIMM. I have placed all parity RAM in banks one and two and set the
appropriate jumpers however the SIMMS are not 501-1466 SIMMS. They are all
9 chip however. Is there any difference between 501-1466 SIMMS and normal
1MB 30PIN 70ns 9Chip SIMMS?

I assume that if it is staying on test 0x12 then that's where an error is
occuring. (Is this the case?) Why isn't it outputting the error to TTYA?
(Or is it like the first few tests of the POST on a PC before the display
is initialized?)

I guess this means I'm going to have to sort through bloody SIMMS one by one!
:( Now that sounds like about as much fun as itching powder in your wetsuit!

Thanks muchly for your reply, it has been of great help. If you do have the
time, I'm sure many people would be grateful if you could send the LED error
codes to the Sun Reference Manual on the sun help webpage. :)

Best Regards,

Chris Fletcher.
