SITUATION:
My home desktop (Celeron 464A/128MB RAM) is connected to the 'net via cable
modem. It will have Win98 SE when it comes out. It currently has Win98.
I already have an extra PCI ethernet card. I have two open USB ports.

My wife has a Toshiba laptop (P2 333/128MB RAM). It has open USB ports. It
has Win95 OSR2. I can't modify the OS of this machine because it is her
work computer. I don't have a PCMCIA network card as of yet.

GOAL: I want to be able to share the cable internet connection with the
laptop on occasion when the desktop is being used for something else.

QUESTION: Can Win98 SE ICS be used with a Win95 OSR2 machine? Can I do
this with USB ports? What is my best option to acheive my goal?

I know it can be done with Wingate but I'm looking for a different way of
doing it. USB sounds like an excitiong posibility to me. Please comment.
TIA.

Thanks,
[Clocker]
