Use the free WRP backup program at my site to make a copy of the registry first(only works on single profile machines)or use Regedit to copy it by exporting if you have a pre-win98 version of Windows. Open your C drive.Highlight the recycled bin and hold down the shift key and right click.Choose delete.Ignore the warning and re-boot and windows will make a new one for you. > hi, all, > now when I try to empty the recyclebin it eventually says > "Cannot delete__: Cannot find the specified file. > Make sure you specify the correct path and filename." > then it still leave several files uncleaned in it. But when > I open this folder, I can not see anything. Has anybody > any idea about this? > > Thanks in advance. > -- "The average lifespan of electronic components is between zero and infinity,or two days after the warranty runs out ,whichever is sooner". shep@d-sheppard.freeserve.co .uk http://www.d-sheppard.freeserve.co.uk http://aftermath.interwan.net/ShepsPlace (mirror site)
