I need to set up Win 98 to be used by two people... ...one is mentally disabled and is very prone to 'wrecking' the current set up by way of deleting all sorts, the other is 'normal' but needs to use the computer without this inconvenience. Is there any way that the HDD could be partitioned and then treated as two completely separate drives so that the disabled person could use say drive D: with no detrimental effect to C: which she would be denied access to? She could have all the programs she needs installed to D: whilst the other user would use C: Could I use tweakUI to make C: invisible to the person using D: ? If this is not possible, how about having two partitions on the same drive, both having Win98 on, with a boot manager allowing the facility to boot to whatever drive, obviously the drive with the boot manager on would need to be protected form the other user somehow (password protected screensaver in startup folder?) Any thoughts please...? -- Regards, Jon (Remove SPAM-LESS for direct Email replies) Watercolour? http://welcome.to/watercolour Conferences? http://welcome.to/MissingLink
