I read you, and your intent was plain. The comment still stands that our laws are more general than theirs. Ours do not specify death. 423 specifies "threats of violence". There simply is no threat that can be made in Canada which is legal here but unlawful in the States. Period. OK, OK, I apologise for taking a snappish tone with you, Mr. Touchy. God knows you're rude enough to everyone else on this group when you get into an argument. And I'm still tired of people writing more words than they've read on a given subject. I'd love to find a group somewhere that sees people doing 1 hour of homework for every hour on-line. You *DO* find such things on the science and engineering groups where USENET started, like guys from Hayes labs writing in the modems group. But I don't see any lawyers here enlightening us about this stuff, just people
