lets get one thing straight here, we are talking about the right of an 
indi. (teale) to get a fair trial vs the right of the public, to get the 
'dirt'

The rights of the ind. shoul and must outway the rights of the group. 
Otherwise we will end up the smae way then the old U.S.S.R.

In other words it is only because of the ban that we can say the our 
rights are truly portected. 

Also note there has been cases in  the states where a judge has baned 
lawyers and press from commenting on a ongoing trial for the same reason
