And if you are accused of a murder I suppose that means you really
did it, and therefore you don't deserve to have any rights? C'mon.

Paule Teale's rights are my rights, and whatever I think of Paul Teale,
I won't stand by and watch his rights get trod on.

Definately. The accused is innocent until proven guilty. The accused
is the lone person singled out by the state -- they need all the help
they can get. You, me, and everyone else are "the collective" in
this case -- when it comes down to the rights of the collective versus
the rights of the individual, I like it best when the individual wins.

When you start saying that the rights of the majority outweigh the
rights of the minority you start crushing people who get in your way.

Huh? Did I mention gun control? Or is that just your all-purpose
devil word? Subjugation by a UN world government? Your psychiatrist
must be on holiday or something.

Somewhere once I heard something about "innocent until proven guilty"
and it kind of sounded like a good idea.
