Thank you for replying to my postingl,

As I said I have no dislike for austrians in general. The demonstration
against the accord that seems to have been reached warmed my hart. It's good
to see that there is resistance against the haider group. You state that 73
% didn't vote for haider. How can it be then that the political party's in
austria would rather see a government with haider instead of compromising
and forming a gouvernement without him.

I know that isolation in general isn't an effective tool, the problem is
that the alternative is dealing with a government that contains a political
party with highly rejectable principales and idea's. I hope my government
will not have any dealings with haider. Even if that means that decent
people in Austria will be affected. We've seen what the principales and
ideas of extreme right can bring us. I think we can't afford to risk
anything remotely like that again. That however implies zero tolerance for
mister haider and his party.

This said I realise that it is up to the Austrians to decide who gouverns
them and no outside interference may hinder the democratic proces. It is
however also our democratic right to choose not to work with a gouvernement
that has ideas like haider does. It is our European heritage to watch out
for and combat any risk of a return to a time we all want to , but may never
forget .

You do however have a point. It is, I agree, better to welcome those
Austrians that reject mister haider and make sure there is a forum where
they can inform the world about the practices of mister haider. I stand
corrected.

mit freundlichen Gruessen
