Hello Martin, I have followed this discussion with great interrest, and I keep wondering: How is it possible that a party like the FP got 27% of the votes. Could you explain to me (according to your own opinion) how this is possible? I know that there are parties like the FP in other countries as wel, so it is not a problem soley to Austria, but in other countries those parties never got a following this big. I remember we even had a similar party here in the Neterlands (the CD), but they never got more than something like 5% of the votes. In Belgium, in the city of Antwerpen, a similar party almost became the biggest party there, but not in the whole of Belgium. Similar parties also exist in Germany, France, Italy and Russia and probably other countries as wel. But they never got so big. What, do you think is the different in Austria? Kamikaasje
