The MIT E-Club & IAP course 349 present a Saturday session on Cold-Fusion.

	
	      "Cold Fusion:  Miracle or Mistake?"

		     Saturday - 25 January

		      9am - 2pm     6-120

			     with

		 Dr. Eugene Mallove, PhD, MIT

		  author of  "Fire from Ice"
	      lecturer in the MIT Writing Program
	 and nominee for the Pulitzer Prize in Writing


  This session will follow the format of a traditional teach-in:
     talks, video and slide presentations, poster sessions,
  ad-hoc panel discussions arranged with attendee participation. 
 Topics include historical, technical, patent & licensing issues,
 and the role of the media in this great and controversial area.

Additional afternoon and evening sessions may be scheduled in order
to show hours of historical and previous conference video docs, and
to provide for small discussion groups, who may wish to meet longer 
to discuss historical and scientific aspects of C-F, in smaller and
more informal meetings. (Additional Saturday session locations TBA)

  Extensive hand-outs and materials will be available, as well as
   "inspection copies" of current scientific and review works.
