SDK/JRE 1.2 using Netscape 4.5 instead of Appletviewer

Hi,
i've written a swing-based applet using jdk1.1.6.
It worked both with appletviewer (working both over the network and from
the local file system). and with Netscape navigator with the JFC/Swing
release.
Then I downloaded the JRE 1.2.
with appletviewer there still is no problem, neither from network
(downloading it via http)
nor from the local file system.
Netscape Navigator has no prblems with executing any other Swing - based
Applet from the Java Tutorial.
But with my applet, Netscape Communicator 4.5, using JRE 1.2, loading
the applet for the first time gives:

Running it a second time gives:

Is it possible, that I have to add something to the applet-tag or do i
have to use an other version (embed-tag for example?)
here ist the html-file:

Hi!

You probably have to use a different HTML code to start your applet.
I could not actually see your HTML example, but you need to use the OBJECT-
tag with IE and the EMBED Tag with Netscape.

Otherwise, the JRE1.2 plug-in is not started, but the code is executed from
the built-in Java VM, which does not know
the javax.swing.* classes.

You can get example code for the HTML-code from Javasoft, as well as a HTML
converter for converting
APPLET-tags to JRE-1.2 tags that work with both IE and Netscape Navigator.

Ciao, Michael
