You need to get the latest beta SVGA X-server from the XFree86 distribution
as support for this card was only added around X312B, although the current
release is X312F. You have to pickup the latest has all the beta's have
a timeout (X312F times out at the start of December I think).

The primary site is ftp://ftp.xfree86.org/pub/XFree86, however, an
Australian mirror is ftp://x.physics.su.oz.au/pub/XFree86. The server
is in 3.1.2F/Linux/Elf, however, read some of the docs at various levels.
You only need to get the appropriate server (312FXSVGA.tgz),, and it works
with the older release, however, you might want to get the full 3.1.2F
distribution.

P.S. I'm using this version now, and it is simple to install and configure.
