U--ix for Vax?

I have a couple of DEC Vax machines, a 6000-310 with 64mb and an 8530
with 20mb (I think) usual collection of HSC's and RA70, 72 etc HDDs.
Any gurus out there know of a version of Linux or any other Unix for that
matter that will run on these machines? The 6000 is presently running
VMS6.0, the 8530 is not running yet, (need to finish the PS mods) Yes, I
know about DEC Ultrix but it's REAL expensive. I am led to beleive a
version of BSD will run on the older BI Bus 8530 but the XMI and BI bus
6310 is a problem. (Shame to let all that ram go to waste!)
Any responses welcome.

ps. I know that Linux will run on an 64bit Alpha but not seen any mention
of Vaxen.
