I read somewhere (this group or c.o.l.m) that it is possible to change the size of a DOS partition (downward) to make room for a second partition (for Linux of course). Existing data on the DOS partition is NOT LOST! I didn't need to do this at the time, so (like an idiot) took no notice. I seem to remember it was a special version of FDISK, or something similar. It was written by someone in the Linux community expressly for the purpose above. What is its name????? Where is it????? Please help.
