Hi Damian,

I got a BJ10e (which I presume is similar to the 10ex) working just by
running Red Hat's printtool, clicking "add", and selecting BJ10e, A4,
360dpi, etc. The /etc/printcap entry that it generated looks like
this:

-----
lp0:\
        :sd=/var/spool/lpd/lp0:\
        :mx#0:\
        :lp=/dev/lp1:\
        :if=/var/spool/lpd/lp0/filter:\
        :sh:
-----

and the filter it created (/var/spool/lpd/lp0/filter) looks like this:

-----
#!/bin/sh

DEVICE=bj10e
RESOLUTION=360x360
PAPERSIZE=a4
SENDEOF=

nenscript -TUS -ZB -p- |
if [ "$DEVICE" = "PostScript" ]; then
        cat -
else
        gs -q -sDEVICE=$DEVICE \
                -r$RESOLUTION \
                -sPAPERSIZE=$PAPERSIZE \
                -dNOPAUSE \
                -dSAFER \
                -sOutputFile=- -
fi

if [ "$SENDEOF" != "" ]; then
        printf "\004"
fi
-----

Hope this helps,
