The two main differences are that the online docs are probably more up
to date (I have the 3rd edition but the 4th edition has just been
released) and the Bible is on paper.

It contains all the HOWTO's, the kernal hackers guide etc (LDP), the new
edition apparently contains something like 48 mini-howto's + howto's
etc.

My copy has about 1600 pages and the 4th edition has 1800 pages I think.

The actual text of the documents appears to be a straight dump of the
text on-line with bold text for editors notes.

they publish the Linux Bible.  This is slow link but Leonard Chan at 
Cetus Technologies has a bit of a description in his catalogue (you may
need to 'search' for it though) his was also the cheapest price
delivered of all the shops online in Australia :
