I've been tryign to install linux slackware kernel 3.0.0 but always seem to hit this problem while booting up from the 'boot' floppy disk. I'm trying to install it on my 2nd hard disk, e: which is an extended partition, am i supposed to type anything at the RAMDISK prompt? i've tried disabling the RAMDISK, but i still get the same error, i've tried fiddling with different configurations when setting up from windows, but always manage to hit the same problem, and never reach the 'root' disk. Can anyone help me? thanks, Sam /******************************************************************************\ Sam Tran - 4th year/ Honours | Drive me fast, crash me crazy Bachelor of Computer Systems Engineering | But i'll just rise back up, Latrobe Uni, Bundoora, Vic.
