Infomagic is a CDROM manufacturer and not a distribution maker. They
combine freely available distributions from the Net, including RedHat's
and Slackware's. RedHat only distributes RedHat.

Because Infomagic has to put each distribution under it's own subtree
on the CDROM, some original manufacturer features may not work, like
the single floppy install of RedHat, which requires that the CDROM be
structured for mounting as root, it seems, but you can still use the
standard 3 floppy install.

If you think you might want a choice of different distributions of
Linux, by all means go for Infomagic. I find that IMO, it suffices to
get one good distribution and spend the rest of my time doing
interesting things with the software rather than installing.
