Any particular reason why Cliff? I would've thought that the EIDE interface
would be quicker. Anyways, you have to tell the kernel the adress of the
other interface. I think this can be done with a boot parameter, but can't
remember which one. If i where you i'd just switch it back - unless there's
some wierd kind of conflict with using that idea.

Pretty sure the loadlin readme lists how to do this. If you can't get to
that cos you CD is down - you'll find it on ftp://sunsite.anu.edu.au/
anyway....

Any problems upgrading the kernel? I'm about to install a new one myself.

Interested actually in the quality of the display of the KTX "17 in high
resolution modes, since i'm about to buy a new monitor myself. How does
it go in X at 1280x1024?

Well, hope I've helped - tho i doubt it.
