|Hi all,
|
|I currently have a DX4/100 with a VLB Trident 9440 video card
|and the best I can do in video is 16 colour vga.
|
|Is there any way to increase this, other than upgrading my motherboard
|and video card to pentium/diamond stealth????

|Resistance is futile....

What version of XFree are you running? The 9440 has been supported in
256 colour mode (but not accel) since 3.1.2D. 3.1.2E can be had from
x.physics.su.oz.au in pub/XFree86/3.1.2E/Linux/elf
