Could someone please point me in the direction of Aussie mirrors of the
sites like tsx-11, sunsite and ftp.funet.fi (or any other place to get the 2.0
kernel in a finite length of time)?

Is there an easy way of finding mirrors? The only ways I can think of are:

- reading the MIRRORS file (or similar) : works well when it exists and
is fairly comprehensive.
- posting plaintive cries for help like this post : works well (I hope), but
requires effort from people who doubtless have better things to do.
- trying a search engine to find links on people's home pages etc. :
probably works eventually, but painfully.

I mean, has someone compiled a mammoth page full of mirrors by location, or
is there a fabulous newsgroup just brimming with FAQs that list hundreds of
mirrors of every type? No, I s'pose not... The net wasn't meant to be
easy...

Sean.
