Ditto here too. Linux getting errors when trying to boot from 1.2G Maxtor- BUT the same drive has a DOS partition which is pounded far more frequently and it is as clean as a whistle. May be I am just lucky :) I was wondering if perhaps 1.3.31 was screwy. At least I think that was the version I was up to. Its a bit hard to find out now :( Any one else out there had similar problems? I still have the notes I made on the kernel barf if anyone can offer any advise.
