I am trying to load a cd version of linux that comes with the March edition of
Computer Shopper mag` onto my 386dx40 with Co-Pro and 8 meg of ram.
The problem is it does not detect my CD drive ( 16 bit S/B & Panasonic rom
563) even though the installation setup does list this unit .
I have tried the auto detect , manually entering the sbcd option and also all
the other cd roms` the program lists but to no avail.
If anyone can provide a solution , in not too technical terms ! , it would be
greatly appreciated as I would like to see what Linux looks like.
Thank you all for any replies
Andrew
