Hello, can someone help?
i want to install linux 1.0.9 yet for some reason it doesn't want to
know about my system, i have a 1Gb hd split into 3
partitions,1=dos(300mb),2=os2(500mb),3=linux(200), plus 1mb for the os2
boot manager. When i boot the linux boot disk it loads and fails to see
both the ide cdrom and 1gb hd. when i adjust the bios to turn off LBA
mode linux sees the hd but fails to see the cdrom. Anyway after finishing
with the root disk, i type setup,it tells me that theres no linux
partition,ok create one using fdisk /dev/hda3, can't find hda3, yet it
will find /hda1. has anyone else had this problem
it would be great if someone could help.
partitions are formated as follows
dos = fat
os2 = hpfs
linux = fat
