I plan to buy the NCR 53C810 PCI SCSI interface card, I read the PCI-Howto 94, they mention that this card will not work on all PCI machine, and will not support HD>1G, any idea/comment? About the SCSI 4x CD-ROM drive, Sony CDU76S or Panasonic CR-504B, is it support by Linux? I cannot find this in CD-ROM Howto. Can someone tell me the performance, there is 20% price diff on this 2 drives. Thanks.
