Hi all, I have a WD caviar disk which is paritioned as follows: /dev/hda1 1 1 11 22144+ 4 Dos 16 bit < 32m /dev/hda2 45 12 32 41328 82 Linux swap /dev/hda3 127 32 525 994896 83 Linux Native Before I ran lilo, fdisk complained that Partition 1 does not end on a cylinder boundary phys=(10,10,63) should be (10,15,63) Then I ran the dreaded lilo with dos&linux entries - this disappeared and instead I got complaints that partitions 2&3 have different [phys/logical endings have different phys/logical beginning don't end on cylinder boundaries. The partition table looks utterly trashed. Can I do anything to get it back? Could my disk geometry be wrong in the BIOS? [it is mode 4, lba and as on the disk] All ideas welcome. Colin Rhodes.
