Hi - can anyone put me right on how to load successfully the Ftape module.

I've spent 2 weeks, learnt how to rebuild the kernel, tweek'ed it to contain
a sound driver successfully & got ppp to work ...

BUT I still get a series of undefined variable errors on trying to load Ftape
has any one got any ideas on what might be wrong...
I'm using ftape-2.03b & modules 1.1.87 with kernel 1.2.1 all recompiled &
built & installed. Admittedly I installed the modules after compiling the kernel
but did select kernel support for the quic 117 device not the other one - clashes
with my sound card.

thanks for any ideas,
chris.
