I think setting the two displays should be possible without much difficulty. However I cant think of a way you would swap user input between the two displays. To get the two displays to work you could set up two different users each with a seperate XFConfig files for each display type. Then when ypu log in seperately......hmmmm, come to think of it I am not sure if you can have two instances of the X server running on the same physical machine. Never done it myself. I just tried it and it told me that "Server is already active for display 0". It may be possible if you could configure your second display with a seperate DISPLAY identifier. Not sure how you would do this. Or it may require explicit X server support for dual display capability. The other easier way is to get a terminal as I have done, can have both running with no problems. Of course it would be only text based. Actually what you suggest WOULD require explicit X server support I suspect as otherwise there would be no need for hw based dedicated X terminals as we could run multiple X terminals by simply having non conflicting video memory on the one physical machine. I think the limiting factor is that you may not have more than ONE XDM session in one machine. But then I really don't have a clue what I am on about...... Anyone else care to shed some light on this topic? Another extraction from the random mental stream of....
