Personally I think the most favorable item is that if an
application crashes then that one app drops in linux leaving Linux
untouched. If an application craps out it leaves the whole OS
completely unstable.
It is only time before the Wine and DOS emu becomes refined
enough so that all those applications that run under DOS and windows
also run under linux.... So if your a windows or DOS die-heart and
wish to have a system that is extremely stable (speaking from
experience), then linux is for you.
Those who argue that linux is not worth the effort due to it
being too complicated are really just cop-ping out. Everything has
it's learning curve. Though I'll agree it is more complicated than
DOS or Windows but this is due to the fact that it offers more. The
more power you have at your hands the more complicated it will be.
You should realize that, what is around now, is gone within 5 years
if it's related to computers unless it provides the user with
expandablity and adaptability. You either keep up with it or not at
all...

		Cheers
