Hi,

I've just started using Linux (Slackwares Aug Release)I've made the disks and
when I boot the machine it reports the following:

FDC0 is a 8272A
No BIOS32 extensions present. This release still depends on it. Sorry.

What is this telling me?. All my hardware is in the supported hardware list. Is
it a floppy Drive problem or the controller?. I'm setting this up on a 486
DX266 Machine with 8 Meg RAM.

Any help would be most welcome.
