Hi all, I was wondering if anyone may have any idea how I can stop my Panasonic 562 CD-Rom drive from ejecting every time the rc.cdrom script is called at boot-up. I've just reinstalled Slackware 2.3, and if there is a CD in the drive, then ok, it mounts it. But, if there isn't, it says No CD found, and ejects the tray! No, it doesn't eject if the CD is in and valid, only when it can't find a CD... I'd still like to keep the rc.cdrom stuff running, else I'd just kill that... Perhaps someone else has had the same prob? Please mail any solutions directly. My news feed is a bit dicey sometimes! :) Cheers, ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Tim Carlier st953607@pilot.stu.cowan.edu.au Undergraduate Computer Science, tcarlier@echidna.cowan.edu.au Edith Cowan University Perth W.A. `Old programmers never die.
