I have installed Slakware 2.3 from CD-ROM.   I am setting up ppp using
chat and adding entries to syslogd.conf so I can see debug
information.  At some point, if I logout and log back in, I see
nothing after putting in my user name, just a delay of about 30
seconds then the login prompt again.  I have re-installed 3 times and
trying to findout at what point this starts happening but I can't seem
to find the trigger.

PS, I only have the root account setup.

Anyone have any ideas, I would love to hear them!
