He recently loaded OS/2 Warp on it and found # that in DOS full screen sessions that his DOS applications # appeared to run slowly, some don't even work! Actually everything apart from # OS/2 applications appeared to be sluggish. He tried playing around with the # memory settings, with not much improvements. # It is to be expected that not all DOS programs can run under OS/2 from the DOS #window or full-screen. However, all DOS programs should still run under your own #DOS (e.g., when you dual boot from OS/2). # That is why, if you want to continue running DOS programs, you need to have #the 2 operating systems installed. # Running under your own DOS should not encounter any symptoms of sluggishness #for most programs. # Bear in mind that under OS/2 in the DOS full-screen/window, you are #executing IBM's DOS. It may behave/perform differently from your own DOS. Huh? You don't need DOS on your machine at all. There are very few DOS apps that will not run in a DOS Session under OS/2. As for the slowness of the DOS sessions, go into the SETTINGS notebook and set SESSION PRIORITY=32. Your DOS app will be back to its old self. You need to do this for all DOS sessions by the way. Before posting this sort of helpful information again, please make sure you know what you're talking about.
