Re: How do I reboot the machine automatically?

A day or two ago I posted a message for asking for testers for
a SHUTDOWN script I wrote for my CEnvi for OS/2 shareware. You
may be interested in the script because it allows you to reboot
automatically while still preserving desktop settings, EAs, and
so on. CEnvi is an interpreter for a language that is very much
like C, and so the SHUTDOWN file is close to C code and would
be useful for your project.

SHUTDOWN.CMD is a 7K text file I'm willing to mail to anyone who
wants to try it out--so far it hasn't had any problems. CEnvi
for OS/2 is available via anonymous ftp as cenvi2.zip and cenvi2.txt
at ftp.std.com in the pub direcotory. CEnvi2.zip contains an
older SHUTDOWN.CMD that is kind of kludgy and doesn't allow
for automatic reboot.
