Jamie - you can probably overcome those problems eventually, but our
advice is to go with Lora BBS, which is (1) written for OS2 (2) has
features that have moved beyond RA (3) is enough like RA you won't
have much trouble mastering it (4) is still being developed with
its author listening closely to us who are making it a very important
componenet of a 'do it all in one box' telecom solution. 

We know RA well, and one of us has installed more RAs than you can
imagine, and in a DOS environment with Deskview, multi-user. It
was fine, but we have gone beyond that kind of solution (windowed
dos or os2) where only a BBS written for the multitasking OS
makes sense.
