Right now my Co-SysOp is the OS/2 expert, but a suggestion I could make is, how you are starting up the VX00.SYS. We had quite a time the first week of OS/2. We found a SysOp in New York, Scott Raymond, who knew OS/2 well and got may of our bugs worked out from him. I don't have a phone number but he does have a FIDO address. He might be the person to talk to. One other suggestion, make sure that every thing on your system has it's own IRQ (execpt the printer can share IRQ). OS/2 makes its calls to the IRQ and if com3 and com4 are set to factory defaults, they may have IRQ conflicts. (That was our first problem) : Can anyone shed some light on my problem? Surely someone's been through : similar circumstances before? I thought OS/2 looked pretty neat when I first : installed it by the shine is fading away... Stick wil OS/2 it will make a difference, even if it gets dim. -bme
