I am using SunOs 4.1.3U1 on a Sparc 2.

I have been having some trouble with the system filling up the
disk partition which contains the root filesystem and the unix
kernal.  I don't know what is causing this or how to find out.

The best suggestion I have had is to use du - but on the "/"
directory du will list everything on the machine (except
files I don't have read access to) and will therefore not be of
much use since there are ~ 3600 files.

As well I have not found any core files in this area.

(all my log files should be in /var ?)

The df command reveals:
