	Thanks... Someone else also replied with some suggestions but the
	real barrier to me getting it working at the moment is the fact that
	if I put in the WRONG partition and/or kernel image I get a prompt
	asking what I should boot. I cant get out of this and I have to turn
	the damn machine off to have another go. I tried ^C, ^D, ^Z etc and
	none seem to do anything. This is not a good thing!
