Hi All, I was hoping someone could please tell me if the following is possible. I have a sun sparc slc running sunos 4.1.3 and wish to use a nec cdr84 cdrom drive with it. However when I try to use it to mount any cd's the drive seems to have a fit and I get massive anounts of kernel messages on the screen. Reading the online manual on sr(4s) it states "This device driver supports the SONY CDU-8012 CDROM drive controller and other CDROM drives which have the same scsi command set as the SONY CDU-8012". Is there a device driver out there that allows me to use NEC cdrom drives? Thanks In Advance Brian Tormey (bjt@scammell.ecos.tne.oz.au)
