help with latex fonts

A paper that I am writing uses the International Phonetic Alphabet
font (IPA). I have a copy of this postscript and bitmapped font on my
macintosh for use with word processors. While I am comfortable with
using tables and figures with LaTeX, I don't know how to incorporate
this font into the document. Is a version of the IPA font available
in the public/commercial domain that can be used with Latex?

Any help via email will be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.
