We had a horrendous file system crash last night. The file ACSnet system was
almost completely destroyed. Any messages that could have been spooled
waiting for transmittion from bruce are lost.

The cause was faulty connectors at the disk controller on our Pyramid 98x.

Sorry, folks. I can't promise that it wont happen again, but the ageing bruce
is about to be reincarnated.

Peter Nankivell, Monash Computer Science.
