Hello Gentleman:

I hope i am not intruding on precious ground.

I have read your debate and believe me it is presented in the true
Aussie fashion.

May i pose a suggestion to you all: the Australian government has, and
will in the future mislead the public on any platform it wishes: it will
lie and present fabricated stories to the public for it's own gain.

What you are all saying is what you have been led to believe by the
government for it has intentionally set out to confuse the public
therefore lowering  the public's defence if it wishes to retaliate RE:
the lies.

Australia needs political reform: we need reality (not academic) based
leaders who will accept accountability for their actions and who are
there to represent the "Aussies best interests". It seems that they are
all there at present for their own ego's, monetary gains and notoriety.

If my opinion is worth anything:
* moderate immigration until unemployment is religiously sorted out.
* Seriously review social welfare fraud: give only to geniune Aussies.
* temporarily suspend overseas aid,
* assess how much "Australian Business is Australian Owned",
* review all government spending (or should i say wastage)
* abolish income tax Totally and introduce 25% GST across the board
* stop the imminent foreclosure on Australia by overseas multinationals
and 
* present REAL facts that will allow the Australian people to focus on
the important issues rather that argue about the issues set up as
sideline decoys.  
* Leave the pension alone: after working and paying taxes all their
lives the Goverment has to do someting for it's senior citizens.
* Review care of the aboriginal communnity and ask them what they really
want: and the majority decision rules, disallow splinter group  wants.
