when they are actually ripping off the TAXPAYER!!!!

I disagree here. We are part of the "global village". We have a moral
obligation to try to support those in genuine need.

I agree. But the average joe is too narrow-minded to see the difference
between spending and wastage. "joe" can't see the benefit in something,
or doesn't understand it, so he rejects it.

like food and medicine shold not be taxed.

Know the truth?! Oh my God! What a concept. Public opinion is more
powerful than the truth.

I agree. But a half-lump-sum/half-pension superannuation scheme is
better. A newly retired active 60-year-old needs more money than an
infirm 85-year-old.
