G'day all,

I am extremely new to TeX, and as such, have no real understanding of
it. When I downloaded the TeX files off my local BBS, (including Pas-Tex,
and editor TeXtPlusProffessional), I found that I could compile some of the
example files, such as letters and articles, but when it cam to compiling
the Book format, as this is what the manual was in, the compiler kept on
returning the error "Can't find \book" or something to that affect.
With the files that I have, I've got the plain.fmt and lplain.fmt, and
I believe these are what are used in the compilation of TeX files. Is
there one of these for books? I would be very interested to know if this
is needed, and where I can get it.

Also, when printing, how can I set up DVIPrint for single sheet
printing? Is there a way, or do I just have to print one page at a time
seperately?

One more small thing, if I select print from ShowDVI, it prints in a
far smaller font than DVIPrint would give me. Again why is this so?

I would be greatly appreciative for any help on the above matters.

Dave
