I've looked through the manual, latex.tex, etc...
and I've learnt nothing.
I'll now address my problem to you.

In LaTeX...

1. Where (and what) is the command that locates the
   page number field in latex.
I would like to lower the page number from it's default
   position.

2. Is it easy to locate the page number on the
   page centrally, as a header.

I'm writing a Thesis.
email me if you like.
