Funny you should mention it. Bugs are going to be a daily part of your life until
you finally figure it out and make the switch to a solid computer designed from the
ground up with graphics in mind. I'm of course talking about MAC and AMIGA. In my
production company here in Salt Lake I run two AVID MC 8000s along side a NEWTEK
TOASTER/FLYER. When I really want quality and performance I use the FLYER! It's
nice to have the two AVIDs, because it definately has somehow gained a name for
itself. I tell clients, "Yes, We run on the AVID." When they come in and see what
my editors are doing on the FLYER they want to switch. They both have their
advantages, don't get me wrong, but the point is they both WORK!! Why? Because
they DON'T run on IBM. Hey, Like the name implies it's a BUSINES MACHINE not a
EDITING MACHINE! Use it to make your billing, and write out checks; Word
Processing and limited Photoshop, but when it comes to PROFESSIONAL EDITING go with
the PROs: MAC, SGI, or AMIGA!
