Tucsons' Pima Pet Clinic

This post is to inform anyone who may experience an emergency with their
pet in the Tucson area NOT to go to the Pima Pet Clinic located at 4832
E. Speedway Blvd.

They charged me for medication (antibiotics) that my dog did not need.
I asked the vet on duty there if there was a risk of infection, she told
me, "absolutely not". (my vet told me to take them back, that my dog did
not need them) they would not take them back. They also charged me
$35.00 for a small bandage which fell off my dog that night, and they
would not re-apply it without charging me the same amount.
When trying to talk to the office manager "Edith" she would not use any
discretion or common sense (which she seriously lacked) in making any
decision.
I have since been to my regular vet (Dr. Percell, Catalina Pet
Hospital) where he has applied two new bandages for half that amount,
and this includes the office visit and his time.

Since this occurrence I have told many people of my experience, many of
those people (in the veterinarian community) have told me that they no
longer refer people to Pima Pet Clinic because of their practices. I
only wish I knew this at the time of my crisis. I feel my emotions were
taken advantage of by this establishment and I will never go there
again.

I hope I can reach and inform others so they will not feel as raped as I
feel.

My message to you all is avoid the Pima Pet Clinic emergency facility on
Speedway Blvd.
